The Canadian Pediatric Epilepsy Network (CPEN) is holding a TSC symposium during the afternoon on Thursday, October 1, 2026, before the CLAE Annual Scientific meeting begins. Session Overview: This session will highlight the advances in TSC care that have occurred across Canada as an example of clinical, advocacy and research collaboration. The session will start with the top Trainee abstract presentations that will focus on TSC as well as other advances in Paediatric Epilepsy. This will then be followed by our Keynote speaker, Dr. Darcy Krueger who will speak on advances in TSC and precision medicine. Dr. Mark Keezer and Dr. Philippe Major will share their experience with successful implementation of TSC Clinics across Canada and the development of a transition program. They will also provide an updated on the National CATs study. TSC comorbidities and the use of CBD will be discussed by Dr. Anita Datta and Dr. Julia Jacobs. The session will then be followed a discussion on advances in epilepsy surgery in TSC. Finally, a special working group will discuss the development of cortical stimulation guidelines across Canada.
